The course introduces vocal techniques in a step by step and detailed manner. It covers numerous aspects of singing like appropriate breathing, diction, posture, dynamics and style. The exam syllabus includes some great rock and pop music by Dusty Springfield, George Michael, Leona Lewis and Jeff Buckley to name a few. The prime focus is on performance and creativity as you learn the skills needed to be a rock and pop musician. The student gets to sing some of the greatest classic hits to modern music as he / she improves through the grades. There is freedom to choose songs that suit ones specific vocal style and range. The techniques learnt will certainly help in communicating successfully the musical mood, character and style of the songs. Use of microphone and other presentation skills are part of the training as you prepare for exams and studio sessions.

The Keyboard syllabus will aid in improving your skills while playing some great classic to contemporary music. The exam pieces include music by ABBA, David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Miley Cyrus. It’s all about performance and creativity, where you explore the different tones and various functions available on your instrument in order to communicate successfully the musical mood, character and style of the songs. You will study phrasing, articulation and dynamics in detail as you progress through the grades. It is a well-balanced program that offers an interesting mix of music and technology.
